Karavas Villa is a detached property with its own private swimming pool. It is set in a quiet position and has a large garden with shrubs and mature trees, which provide welcome shady areas. It is situated near the village of Tala, close to the historic monastery of St Neophytos and only  10 mins drive to the lovely sandy beach of Coral Bay and the town of Paphos. From the villa there are truly delightful  views of the entire coastline and sunset. .

There is a large terrace with barbeque facilities, a few steps lead down from the terrace to a lovely swimming pool. The swimming pool is fenced for extra safety and maintained during your stay. . There is also large paved area with garden furniture and sun beds.

This large villa has  air conditioning units in 4 of the bedrooms with a high powered fan supplied in the 5th bedroom.   Air conditioning is paid locally at a rate of CYP2.50 per unit per day upon request. There are 4 units, one in each of the upstairs bedrooms.  There is a high powered fan in the downstairs bedroom.

The villa itself has an open plan sitting room with a dining area, a well equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms and four bathrooms (two en-suite, plus one full bathroom upstairs and one shower bathroom downstairs). There is also an annex bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room and fitted wardrobes which is available upon request. The large sitting room area is comfortably furnished with 4 sofas and matching chairs, occasional tables and a TV, video and CD/radio/cassette player. The stone fireplace is an attractive feature.  Double patio doors lead out on to a paved veranda which runs the entire width of the villa and has beautifully relaxing views of the coast and sunset . tiled steps from the veranda lead to a crazy paved area with shaded garden table, chairs and B-B-Q area.

The Kitchen  has electric kettle, toaster, and gas cooker with oven, microwave oven, a large fridge freezer and washing machine plus all the normal necessary kitchen utensils including cups, plates, cutlery etc.

There are six bedrooms altogether 4 of which are upstairs.   Two doubles both with en suite, one triple bedroom and one twin room. Three of these bedrooms have patiodoors to the upstairs balcony which runs the length of the villa. There is also another large full bathroom. 

Downstairs has the spacious family room which has one double bed, one single bed and one cot. (extra cot provided upon request) this bedroom also has patio doors leading to the downstairs veranda. There is also another shower room on the ground floor.  The 6th bedroom is housed in the annex just outside the villa and has twin beds plus shower room and fan. The bedrooms are all comfortably furnished with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps. Each bedroom is light, spacious and airy and have beamed ceilings.

Water is heated by solar panels but there is also an emersion heater for the water if necessary. (thankfully in Cyprus we have so much sunshine this is not required very often at all!) There is a wide balcony which runs the entire length of the house on the ground and the first floor. All the bedrooms have either patio doors which lock or shutters which lock.

This is a most attractive and spacious house offering good positioning for relaxation and privacy and yet is close enough to all facilities available.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE SURROUNDING AREA

This beautiful villa is situated in Ayios Neophytos close to the ancient Monastery of Ayios Neophytos itself with the original worshipping church built by the hand of St Neophytos into the rocky cliff side.  The village of Tala is 2  minutes drive from the Villa and offers traditional tavernas serving good food and drink  at good prices, there are also 2 village shops for your basic needs.  Only 5 minutes in the opposite direction to Tala is the main Paphos road which has a small shopping area with supermarket, bakery, newsagents, kiosk, takeaway etc and this is  also the road which takes you directly into Paphos town within maximum of 10 minutes. The harbour sea front area are within 15 minutes drive where you can take boat trips around the coast or maybe a glass bottom boat trip a bit closer to land.  There is also the House of Dionysos a wonderful example of ancient mosaics plus the working amphitheatre close to the harbor.   Polis and Latchi are within approx 20 minutes drive and are well worth a visit.  You will find the pleasant village square of Polis and  close by the attractive fishing village of Latchi which is  delightful for swimming and an snorkeling in the clear waters. There is something for everyone when staying in the Paphos area plus of course an average of 340 days sunshine a year just to assist in your enjoyment.

The above rates are applicable for 1 - 12 people, extra sleeping accommodation available on request if required with a charge of GBP30 per person per week for guests over the 12 specified in the rates table above.

Normal access time into this villa is 4pm with departure time being 11am on your last day. If alternative times to these are required please do ask as we are happy to organise if at all possible.
